You pull into a restaurant parking lot park next to 2 other Jeeps walk into the restaurant and look around wondering who's the owner. When the person you think owns it walks out you look to see if you are right.

You must live in the Tobacco belt! Last time I was in NC there were ashtrays in the kiddy play land at McDonalds!

Here in the Peoples' Republic of Massachusetts you're treated like a Leper if you smoke! Some buildings have a minimum distance you can smoke from any entrance! The only bars left I could smoke in were the AmVets and the VFW.
It sucked, glad I quit - 67 days and counting!
Now my cigarette money has become my Jeep fund

X2! Just yesterday, spent about 20 min at Cumberland Farms with a JK owner talking about lifts and wheels. Then a guy that works there joined in talking about his XJ

Not how it is now, can't smoke in any place that serves food, bar, restuarant or anything in nc, started either last year or the year before, but id smoke and I think its a good thing, used to hate going into resturants and all I could smell was the smoke.

When you can't help but laugh at a Jk Owner that says "I want a hard top because I hate the noise. And once it is on it is never coming off.". And we live in Florida... sad really

Or when a guy in an H2 approaches you at a gas station and says "I'm thinking of getting a Jeep, but I want a new one because its much more quiet and rides better" and all you can respond with is "I don't care about that pansy stuff, that's why I drive a real Jeep"

That's great. Real jeeps or nothing. Mine doesn't even have carpet and I don't know how many holes I've had to drill in the bottom to let rain water drain out. Lol

You've had to drill holes? What's wrong with the drain plugs??

I have no clue. When I bought it there were a few holes on each side in the front. One on each side were bigger so I guess there used to be plugs there. But in the back there are holes but they are on a price of metal higher than the lowest part (does that make sense? It sounds a like a good way to describe it) and water puddle up there at it froze in the winter! It smelled weird to because there was dirt and dog hair in it to. So I got the drill and fixed it!

I think I understand. Better be careful drilling holes if you go through water or mud, or else you'll start taking on water! I'd just melt the ice, then soak up the water or push it out the tailgate somehow

Lol, I'm sorry, I just read the dog hair part and it cracked me up. Last year I had a stray cat piss up on the driver seat and the passenger seat would get wet from the rain and it would smell from the dog hair on it. Come winter time when the top went back on I wanted to burn the jeep every time I had to drive it. On a good note though, I never had to be the taxi for everyone

It's just a really small hole. Like big enough for only water to get through. My dog like to think every time I go some where he HAS to go to. He's so cute though lol. But it's in the bottom of the back seat like the foot place. And if that's what it takes pink Percy! Lol
