Sorry to hear and see that, good luck with getting her put back together. That's no fun. I'm sad for you.

Whenever you walk out of your girlfriends church and see two guys standing in the parking lot looking at your jeep and you just walk by and smile but don't say anything and just keep letting them look

I'm glad there are those kinds of people. I got a 99 TJ last year and the PO kept it clean, nice, and stock. He did not use it as a Jeep. Now, after working on it and spending money on it for a year, it's my time to use it as a real Jeep.

In another 10 years from now, I will be looking to buy an old KJ from someone who did not use it. I just really enjoy taking a used stock Jeep and making it into my type of Jeep.

When you wash your jeep you wonder how easy washing your engine is going to be

Especially knowing that you have to get around all the relays that you haven't waterproofed yet...

I have another one. When you are at work and some one comes and tells you they backed into your car, you go out and all they did was scuff your spare tire. They ask you if you want to swap INS info and you chuckle and tell them if they want to submit it and have there rates jacked up go ahead.

Today I was taught how tough a Jeep is. I drive around 150,000 miles a year. I've seen many cars and trucks hit bridges and none ever drive away. I was up in the Cleveland area this morning and they are getting some nasty freezing rain. A Jeep TJ, about a quarter mile ahead of me, lost control on a bridge, spun and hit the bridge a couple times. As I came up on the bridge he just pulled away as if nothing happened. There were a few small pieces on the ground, the right front fender smashed in pretty good, and a large dent in the corner of the tub. Other than that, he drove away. Guess he figured it would be cheaper to repair it himself then pay insurance for the next 3 - 5.

Sorry to take this out of context but, 150,000 miles a year??? You must go through cars every 2-3 years. That's an insane amount!

LOL, speaking on that level I would. I drive semi-truck. My truck has 1,370,000 miles on it right now. So it takes a while to go through these.

Ah ha!

You are one of the drivers that buys a new jeep puts 30000-50000 miles a year and then gives it back to dealer and its only a year old with all those miles! That explains the 1 year old vehicles with more mileage then my 8 year old tj. Lol!

Haha, funny, you thought you busted me. This is my first Jeep, bought it just a few months ago. I can't see me getting rid of it now that I got it. There's only three ways that Jeep and I are parting company, it's totaled, I'm dead, Christ returns.

For those matters theres: restore, coffin, and fiery "chariot"

Its the damn door latch. The higher your lift the more belt loops you'll rip. I've been lucky enough after 3 years to never rip any but a couple weeks ago I racked my tailbone on it...didn't feel good
