In California they are required to provide free air to customers. Just go inside and ask to please turn on the air. Works like a charm

Free air? Wow! $1 minimum at every place I know that has air around here and it doesn't last long enough but maybe for two tires.

Every air pump round Nashville is the same way where a buck does at most one to two tires
When I lived in Philly there was free air but that was 13 years ago

Go by a Discount tire. They'll fill em all up for free. There's several around the Nashville area.

I have an air compressor at home with the cable check on it to test air pressure as well. I bought it 8 years ago. Still purrs like a kitten. There are a few I have bookmarked in my gps as to where the free air is by my local off road spots. I just have to come back to civilization first. Lol

When you watch mythbusters build a duct tape boat and you want to build a duct tape kayak, and use your TJ to bring it in deep to the woods to test it. Not thinking that only a TJ ambulance a would be able to get to you if you needed it.

When you turn your tj off when going through the drive thru and hear the guy say "dang" over the loudspeaker when you turn it back on and then he strikes up a conversation with you about how loud it was

Bedtime reading

You know you drive a TJ when you fall asleep in bed reading the repair manual!
Drove our TJ around the block last night, 7 miles. The oil pressure gauge quit, came back on, quit again, went full scale, quit again. Then we get back and go to back into the garage in the dark to discover the backup lights didn't work. Just started laughing. As we walked out the garage I grabbed the repair manual to read in bed...

Priceless! I don't know how many times I have done that! Driving down the road, hearing a funny noise as a car passes, then hoping you drive by something that reflects your engine noise back to you so you can "ear diagnose" it while driving!

Be careful using your steering wheel as a grab handle. Over time this can lead to loose steering and a jacked up steering column. This doesn't have anything to do with weight, but every time you pull it to get in it pulls the entire steering column, not just the wheel.

When you are excited enough to drive 1 hr 38 mins to get a like new soft top for only $250, and you pay cash and not bat an eye. Got up at 5 am to meet the guy who had it. Hardware was included. Go me.

Or you drive 2 hours to spend $100 on a $400 used part and don't even think twice about handing over the $100, but later have serious reservations weather or not you should drop the $14 for new wiper blades for your non-Jeep dd...

When instead of waiting for traffic after school you just cut across the practice field and up and out of the ditch.
