You know you drive a TJ when your girlfriend calls you in the middle of the night to make sure you put the top up since it started to pour.

When you have learned to have a wet wipe handy because the local flock of birds in the neighborhood do not discriminate just because your top's off.

You know you drive a TJ when every time you log onto Wranglerforum and the TJ section is loaded with repeats of the same old "what size lift do I want?", "what's the biggest tire I can put on stock even though I'm gonna argue with you that I can go bigger then what was told to me" and the imfamous "my front end shakes and i dont feel like searching the sticky at the top of the page" threads.

If I want to buy something, she might say as long as we have money go for it. Never have to ask for anything, the decision is always mine. Same works other way around, if she wants to do something or go somewhere she just tells me and I say ok be careful I love you. Not having to negotiate is a great thing.
X2 I was joking with my wife the other day about buying the OME lift kit I've been eying and she didn't even bat an eye, just said when is it going to be here...

When your some of your co-workers like your Jeep so much they go buy ones for themselves. At first you are happy and appreciate the compliment. Then you sigh when you find out they got JKUs.

So you can't exactly compare parts and notes. Yeah, that's it...

Your son comes to vist, you loan him the thing, and now he wants to buy YOUR Jeep!

You can perform almost all of the underneath work without using a jack.

Your wife won't ride with you because:
a) She's too short to get into it
b) The ride makes her seasick

It's the only manual transmission car in the neighborhood, and all the teenage drivers want to use it to learn how to drive a stick.

You hear the same three questions over and over:
1) How do you like it? It's a Jeep!
2) How does it ride? It rides like a Jeep!
3) Do you want to sell it? It's MY Jeep!

You hate it when it's not running, but look forward to working on it.

Your wife lets you purchase upgrades at the same time you are purchasing repair parts.

You've read all 180 pages and can relate to everything posted here!

when the first thing you do with your jeep after you buy it, is find a place to test out the 4wd

your friends want to ride with you to a mud hole, cause they know there big trucks will get stuck

when you give a friend a ride for the first time and wait for them to stub there toe on the door frame getting out

When your son gets disappointed that you have to have the top up because he can't climb the tire to crawl in the back.

When you have a rental car & keep forgetting to lock the doors because you never lock them on your soft top.

You have put on your top and windows 100s of times but get psyched when you figure out a slightly different sequence that is slightly easier and faster.
