Goin topless for the first time this year makes you extremely happy. Even when you only got to drive it for 15 mins.

Does it really matter who buys them??? As long as they keep selling the factory will keep building them, keep their doors open, keep all those jobs in place and maybe just maybe do a small part in keeping this country from failing any worse than we have the last 3 yrs!!! Now if everyone would quit buying all the overseas garbage like toyota, honda, nissan and freaking kia. Be proud buy American!

Yeah, that's not asking too much.

I wonder if new Beetle owners wave at the classic bugs... I sold my Beetles right before the new ones released so I never found out.

I'm guilty of that; I usually only wave to Wranglers or CJs. I'm one of the hold overs that still say real Jeeps have two doors and a removable top. Hey, I'm almost 40, I'm aloud to be grumpy and opinionated.

When a guy at the gas station says "are you leaking anti-freeze?" and you just say "probably" without even looking...and roll on.

That is true. I am a software developer by (week -)day. I do however not think that anyone would know if I did not tell.them. I love working on my Tj and would much rather be doing that as a job if it paid better. I built my own Yamaha bobber at some point and drove a super motard to work everyday. Not bad for a computer geek

But I think I am also the only person in our IT department that changes his own oil.

I have never gotten a wave from a jk...I will still forever wave at them though. In fact...I got the wave from a grand Cherokee the other day...so even the cherokee's are more educated on the wave than a jk.

Me and my friends joke around with jk...tj is true jeep and jk is "just kidding I'm not a jeep."

Wish they would wave

When you are the Bad area/Bad weather designated driver by your brother and friends. That includes if one must drive through a ghetto area or an area known to have bad roads along with driving during every type of poor weather condition imaginable. im not complaining though

lol, since I got the Jeep it has been the vehicle of choice for our lunch outings, we used to take my friends fully loaded Acura TL but the Jeep is just more fun... even if we are just driving down the paved road to the local Chinese buffet.

Temporarily immobile can have many meanings...in this case a dead battery and the front tires being about 6 inches off the ground lol
