I've been in the same situation and it is a sad day when no one is around to help. I burn up the phone trying to find a helper to get the top off!

AWESOME! I also pulled into the parking lot at my townhouse last night and a guy was like "is your Jeep making a clicking noise when you turn real sharp? Isn't that CV's or something?" I said "could be, I dunno" and walked on into my house smiling.

I think as a Jeep owner with a heavily modded rig you just learn to not worry until you have a real reason to worry. At any given moment I am certain I have something leaking or rattling...

I had people asking me about my "clicking sound" all the time. I just said "That's my Detroit, it's supposed to do that" then leave them with a confused look on their face.

When you are looking out at your jeep and back to the forums every few seconds thinking, "That mod would look really good on her."

You are searching for an 18 wheeler to draft so you can reach 75 mph!

While your driving down the road, you look to the left and right and see where you would rather be driving

I guess I must be doing it wrong or taller, so far I have torn a hole, about 1 inch long, in about 4 pairs of Carhartt jeans about 1 1/2 inches below the belt buckle. Glad my wife can sew!

I have a theory that it's meant to be opened with your left hand. That way you don't have to put down your beer/taco/pistol/whatever.

Stock 4.0's with stock tires will go pretty fast. You're not going to win any races, unless you are racing the 2.5 Ranger though. They come from the factory tired! My previous vehicle was a 91 yJ, and the TJ is a few steps faster than it.

The TJ is my first vehicle. It's slow period. Haha. I pray that my next vehicle is faster! Just a lil bit!

When you find yourself looking around a parking lot as you pull in for other TJ's to park next to...

... and when that fails you park next to an FJ Cruiser so they can see what a real 4x4 looks like when they come out of the store.

I'm hoping to get one this summer. The old owner had the bars for one but no top

Today I had 4 people help me get the top off...the night was 30 degrees but it's supposed to be 80 this week and no rain...I can deal with a little shiver on the night commute for this!

I gotta say...I've never had the belt loop issue so I am very lost. I hop in and out of the jeep...grab the roll bar to lift me up. I'm 5'2...is this why my belt loops are in tact?
