When you convince your dad that plasti-dip is the fix to the scratches he left on the hinges.

When you make your own road on the dirt next to the really busy one lane road and all the escalades and new expeditions or yukons just stay in traffic so they dont get their luxury SUVs dirty

When the power has been out for almost 5 days and counting, during a heat wave. And your spending time setting in your TJ in the dark, drinking magic hat, and charging your phone so you can get on WF....

When your three year old son says he has to pee when in the jeep and he let's loose and you yell "not In the Jeep!"

When someone you know and respect is selling their 2 year old JK, and when you ask them why, they say "It's just not meant to be a daily driver"... And you walk away thinking, "What a pussy!"

The last time I was able to take the top off a couple weeks ago I had a jacket, ear muffs, and gloves on just to make it to work. The ride home was nice though!

Hopefully, I can take the top off tomorrow for a while. Seattle weather sucks!

After playing in the mud it takes longer to hose out the inside than to clean the outside.

I dont mind when the power goes out when its cold/snowing out. Fire up the woodstove, cook a pot of chili and all is well. could even of put all the food in the fridge out in the snow to keep it cold. Lol

Hey good luck with everything hope stuff gets sorted out down there quick! Sounds like you got out better than others. Two friends of mine had trees go through their house and a Family member lost both cars because of a tree. I also just drive through there on my way back home from SC was crazy it's a good thing my grandmas Honda oddessey gets 40 mpg because we would have run out of gas and been screwed!

When you've been caught topless in a thunderstorm and the excitement about getting to watch the lightning jump from cloud to cloud over your head outweighs the cold and fear of a nearby strike. What a show!

When you get funny looks at the gas station the next day when you use a squeegee on the INside of your windshield.

Ok I guess we are at different levels in our lives, imo there is absolutely nothing exciting about a thunderstorm or lightning! You must've never lost loved ones or property due to the power packed in a thunderstorm...

No I haven't, and I fully admit it was pretty high on the stupid scale. It was late and we were trying to beat the storm home, but it caught up to us really quick. I did pull off and ducked under an overpass to wait it out for about 30 minutes (along with 4 other cars with tops). But it was definitely awesome watching it roll in during those brief moments when we were exposed and looking for an exit.
