I have lost property due to storms, and trees falling, and all sorts of things.. I still love the feel of open air running from or in a storm..*shrug*

When you joke around with your dad that you just set a new personal "no doors/top/windows" temperature record of 37 degrees (previous was 44 degrees).

My dad and I drove to the summit of Mt Evans (14er) this morning... you can't believe some of the looks we got today esp from the Florida family all bundled up haha.

PS. First time my dad's ridden in the Jeep with no doors or windows... or top. He loved it despite the cold haha.

It's alright. Had one before, sometimes I wish I kept it for mudding. The suspension is a lot easier, that's for sure.

When a friends buys a jeep and you're more excited then he is because you've got another jeep to work on!

All the time. They ask "what's wrong with it now?" just because I'm working on it doesn't mean there is something wrong/broken.

They this fix if your gauges are giving you problems. 10-15 mins max if you've never removed your gauge cluster before. Phillips head screwdriver, needlenose pliers and you have quite possibly one of the easiest Jeep fixes there is.

I agree buy American in most any situation except cars. Not Jeeps or Trucks, but cars. We have had three Nissan Maximas over the years and currently have a Toyota Avalon. I have never had or even know of others that have American cars that are as reliable as those. Sucks, but I would want to take a cross country trip in the Avalon more than any American car I've ever had. Even American cars that are reliable still "seem" cheaply made and have more squeaks and rattles than most foriegn made. We really suck compared to most foriegn car makers....

The tundra has more American parts on it than any of the big 3's trucks plus they are assembled in America and the "American" trucks are outsourced. So even though toyota is "Japanese" they support more American jobs than the others
