When you try to wheel other vehicles you're driving in.

I drive a Dodge Sprinter delivery van for work, and I'm purposefully drive over weird obstacles in it if I get the chance, haha.

Yea I took a tape measure and had her read it and told her to add 6 inches (4 inch lift and tires) and her eyes got as big as diner plates lmao but none the less she loves riding shotgun topless and doorless on her bikini and jean booty shorts

But you know you drive a tj when your sitting in traffic at a stop light and your topless and doorless and you can smell others people car fresheners

with the flat windshield and that little tray up there its the PERFECT spot for a heads up display app on my phone or iPod.

You know you drive a TJ when you place something like a phone on the tray on top of the dash and hit a sharp turn and it flys off!

top on.

I know this isn't what this thread is about, but figured everyone on here drives a tj so it be a perfect place to ask. What is yall normal running temp? Mine has been running at about 210 maybe a little above. I thought that was hot but was told thats normal. Well the other day it started running hotter than that (hot day, long drive on the interstate). So I bought a new thermostat, just installed it, filled radiator, and took it for test run. She was running real rough and shut off on me so i started back home. Pulling in drive way it overheated again and started knocking. :bang head: any help or advice would be awesome! Thanks. Oh and its a 97, I6, auto. Thanks again

210 is normal. Sounds like you have air in the system now, you need to burp it out.

When you know exactly where to rest your right arm to get the wind to ventilate your right pit. (top down, doors off) My sweet spot with a T-Shirt is right elbow on the front right of the console, fingers near the right side of the e-brake. Works like a charm, lol. Better than AC...which I don't have anyway.

How is that done? And did I possibly screw something up running it?

I'd say it depends on how hot it got and for how long. I know we can't say to search, but I'd hate to derail this thread... There are plenty of ways discussed in threads on here, from an aspirin in the thermostat to just squeezing and releasing the top hose with the cap off until bubbles stop coming out. You could always start a thread or look in the TJ section, you'll get more help. Hell, after reading your first post again, it may have been the water pump that caused the overheating in the first place. It usually gets changed at the same time as the stat. Flush, stat, water pump, and belt are usually a package deal.

This one occurred to me today.

When you put it out in the yard to wash it, and end up spending more time hosing off the undercarriage and wheel wells then you do the actual body of the Jeep. (Because of all the mud and crap, and you don't really care if the exterior appears clean.)
