That's a little much. The 2.5 lasts just as long, is just as trail capable, has more room in the engine bay making repairs somewhat easier and gets better gas mileage. Yeah its not as powerful and interstate speed worthy as the 4.0 but thats the only downside.

Well the 2.5 came with the ax-5. So there's that.

When there's no parking available, so you just make a planter box your parking.
I work at a hotel and it's completely booked and the Good Guys are holding an event, not a spot available.

He's on that 2.5 jealous juice. Sold at jeep dealerships over the years.

And I don't really want to be the one that tells him that the MPGs are pretty dang close tbh.

I said the power is the big difference. Tell me the other advantages if you can. And no the mpgs being close is something the 4.0 guys say to make them feel better about their 10-14 mpg guzzlers. My 2.5 with 32-11.50s, 4.88s regularly averages 19 mpg. That is a full 25%+ better than other simarly equipped 4.0 Jeeps that friends have. My bad averages when most of the tankful was spent in 4wd low is 16 mpg. Show me a 4.0 with 32s that can say that. Guys I know get 12 -14 in normal driving and 10 or less when wheeled.

I consistently get 17 mpg on my 16 mile commute. 45mph and one stop sign...better than most trucks.

If I stay at a steady 45 I get about that too. But normally I'm around 10-12

I get 14-16, in a mountainous area, with 33's and 3.73 gearing. Plus a lot of stop and go.... It'd be better if I had the right gearing too.

Thanks bumper we have the se point, do you like your borla exhaust?

I think I'm done here

Yeah I love my borla exhaust. It's full stainless steel and sounds awesome. Over the stock with exhaust leak anyway lmao I'm sure theirs better sounding but the PO of my jeep had it in boxes in the trunk area, so it was a price I couldn't refuse
