you should see this once place by me. I'm not in a city. But they are filling in an old mining Corey. So yet have like a 25 foot wide flattened path up to the top of this cliff. So the machines can get up to shovel dirt in. And I want to just drive all over it so bad. Hahaha

With "proper gearing" for 33s your Roms ate a lot higher and your speed is lowered in effect. They get up to speed alot quicker however.

That is very true. Great acceleration, very low top speed. But jeeps aren't made to go fast. They are made to cruise!

Ha!
I was driving with the top and doors off and this kid in a Honda civic pulled up next to me and was like you ever afraid of falling out! I laughed and grabbed my seatbelt.

Not just a tj thing I guess but hey it works ^

When my speedo is at 50 it's actually about 65. But I have had it at speedo 65 which is closer to 80. And faster but not anymore. It's not safe. Just passing people is the only time I hit 80.

....your getting in and your foot doesn't fully clear the door frame 'cause of the lift and you fall into the Jeep like a moron. Happens at least once a month.

When there's no oil on the rear diff you don't assume the leak's fixed, you assume it's out of oil.

You keep spare straws in the glove compartment! LOL

To have a sub-woofer you have no storage in your center console.

when you park in the grass in your yard rather than the driveway, because it just doesnt look as good on pavement.

when youve learned not to take any valuables with you when you go out...partially for fear of it flying out, and partially because once its parked its fair game to....anyone

when you have actually wondered what your jeep would look like completely painted in bedliner spray paint

if you have a bruise on your elbow from trying to cram your arm out of your half sliding window to wave at an oncoming jeeper

if you have come to the realization that theres no point waving at a jk, because they dont wave back

if you call to place an order with quadratec for one thing...and end up ordering 10... because you already paid for the shipping, so its a better deal!

When you cross a bridge or overpass in the fastlane at 50, when the speedlimit is 60, just due to the 35 mph cross-wind and the 130' drop into the Maumee River. Yes driving on the Veterans Glass City Skyway in high winds with a kite for a vehicle is not a good idea, the guardrail is only about 3.5' high

Might not be just a TJ thing but... when your girlfriend goes though your phone's photo album () and wonders why there are pictures of other Jeeps and you have to try to explain to her that you saw something that you liked or wanted and instead of trying to dig up the thread of the picture you just saved it to your phone.

When you fuel cap locks properly with the key but to open it you can merely turn it a couple of times in the right direction for it to open.

When you have to undo a zip to load something in the back.

I sold my CJ5 25 years ago. Yesterday (1-30-12) I buy my TJ at noon. I get home at 5pm and my son pulls in the driveway and starts the conversation with this question:

Son: "Do you have a fob?"

Me: "Dude, It's a JEEP!"

Some things just come back quick....
