When your stock wheel diameter is larger than your windshield wipers are long.

When (if you have your doors on) you can put your elbow on your door sill.

When you hit a curb and don't even care because your tires are so big the curb won't scratch or dent the rims

When you paint job around your lower driver-side door hinge is all scuffed and scratched from using it as a foot peg.

When your 3 year old daughter says "Daddy, was that jeep lifted? 'Cause it looked like the back was really big and the front was really small."

I had a car doing that to me and I blew a trailer tire knocking off the angle iron holding on the mudflap which nailed her car. Bet she won't do it any more.

This should probably be more of a you know you drive a CJ when...

My CJ7's gas gauge didn't work when I first got it. My dad always got a laugh out of me checking the weather reports all the way to where I was going on a long trip to check for wind direction and speed. This was to make sure I did not run out of gas somewhere. Which did happen once. The particular trip was always the same, no wind that night. But, at 4 AM I ran out of gas in a one horse town with a gas station not open till 8 AM... I had no idea why it happened till I got home and started poking around under the hood. I had a seal in my fuel pump give out so it was spraying fuel around like the models in the movie Zoolander... I was shocked I didn't smell it. God knows I smelled every coolant leak long before you could see them....
