Blasphemy. I had a YJ, other than the suspension being easy, there are no benefits. Part of me wishes I had a bigger garage/been at a different stage in life and kept it as a mudder. Never had a JKU, I'm sure it has benefits also. But in this forum and thread.... Blasphemy. Lol.

"You know you drive a -TJ-? When..."? Haha. Don't get me wrong. I love my tj. But it would be nice to have a few extra luxuries.

I look at it the same way as my 72 Wheel Horse. It cuts grass. That's it's job. It's great at it. Put it in reverse, it cuts grass. Get off the seat, it cuts grass. Flip it over, it's trying to cut grass. Neglect it, beat it, so what, it's cutting grass. Same with the Jeep. It runs. Goes where you point it. Honey Badger don't care. Period. Lol. I like simple. You want luxury, get a Caddy. just my opinion. I deal with interlocks and safety BS at work constantly, I don't need that crap when I want to get somewhere.

about 17g's but it can be done for less than 10 .... the reason i say 17 was because i bought everything brand new because i wanted a warranty... engine, tranny, linkages, adaptors, F-9 axles, new interior, new tires and rims, so basically, its a brand new jeep . the only thing that hasnt been changed is the body and frame

You know you drive a TJ when people want to compare their model of jeep and try to prove that it's better.

I don't want to risk an idiot cutting the top to break in instead of just unzipping. Too expensive to fix. So I just don't keep much in there. I left the city a little over a year ago. The TJ has been one of my rewards for getting away from it!

I get excited to drive my Jeep on the military base where I work. If it wasn't for the military, we would have Jeeps!
