Exactly! Except for my tools, I basically just don't keep anything in the Jeep that I would care if it got stolen or not, & leave the doors unlocked.

I actually had some Jackass cut the top in my other convertible to take some CD's (burnt, not even originals except for one) with the doors unlocked. Talk about pissed, and stupid crooks.

What criminal is smart...? None! Why would they think the door would be open?

My brother even had the same thing happen in his Jeep, at least I got his tinted windows out of it.

Had a crook go thru my TJ twice now. Both times all they took was the change in the ash tray. But get this they left everything under a quarter. My two levels and all my tools had been moved but not stolen. If your going to keep doing this then make it worth your while cause this ten dollar bull crap is pissing me off. OR just stop breaking in please that would be nice too.

Same here: doors are never locked, nothing of value is left in the TJ -- I don't trust the lock of the glove box either.

I might change my habits once the hard top is on, but then again I rarely lock my doors when the temperature is below freezing. (Which happens a lot of the time in these parts of the continent...)

Yeah, nothing like that wonderful feeling when you put your key in the door and it refuses to turn.... Winter is coming....

When a guy yells "perfect day for a jeep!" Its 88 degrees today, in October! I just smile and think, every day is perfect for a jeep!

Random guy at work, "yo man if I had your car I'd dress her out with some chrome." Me, "two kittens just died, quit before you kill another." Him, "I don't get it." Me, "EXACTLY!"

When you take the top down and the doors off and that's not enough, so you start finding out how to fold the windshield down!

Haha. I dont think people do it on the road for that reason. I've done it on trails and the farm in summer and it's great fun.

I've folded mine down a couple of times and it still seals like it did before. Just make sure that you don't rip the seal when folding it down and clean it real well before you put it back up. You can always spray some of that door seal sealant on it if you think your getting some wind noise.

You know you drive a TJ when the wife has an interview for a new job in the morning so you leave the house at 11 at night just to put gas in the LJ so she doesnt have to worry about it in the morning. Of course you choose the farthest gas station away in your current city (about 15 minutes down the road) just so you can be in your LJ that much longer. Gosh, I LOVE my Jeep.

And in the 15 minute drive back from the gas station, the gas level is noticeably lower, still worth it though

You know you drive a TJ when JK owners watch you drive down the road and wish they would have bought a TJ instead.
