Your first $300??

Well I spent my first $300 on mods tonight.. I ordered a new head unit (Kenwood KDC-X595), ordered a pair of Q-Logic kickpanel enclosures for my component set, and ordered some wiring kits from KnuKonceptz...

What was your first $300 in mods???

Had to really think on this one. My first $300 was on Diamond plate Rocker Panel Covers, flat stock bumper ends to replace the milk jugs and a new Rancho Steering stabilizer.

My first $300 was on Kenwood speakers and a head unit because I could not deal with the stock tape player and the one speaker that still worked! Haha first mechanical mod was a new transmission I think but that was more of a repair and was well over $300 haha

Dick cepeck dc1's a bit more than 300 but it's a start... Next in line is the zone 3" lift.. Then more lights on the front and rear.. I got the 5 1/4 inch plates for the front speaker mounts, gonna work on that tomorrow, then a new head unit and momma will be happy, not sure about me yet... Just empty every pocket...

Pretty sure mine was the beginning of my "dechroming process"

Replaced chrome front bumper, replaced chrome door handles, painted chrome grill inserts and headlight bezels

My first $300 was spent on all new fluids and filters. I wasn't sure the PO ever changed them. It only had 40,000 miles on it so I wasn't that worried that it was abused.

A hard top ($150) center counsel and rear seat + brackets. Still have the sound bar and deck that came with the YJ.

Stereo/speakers are one of the last things on my list!

Seat covers. I've gotten most of the small things out of the way, so now the spending begins.

First 300 bucks were spent on seat covers and a Bestop Supertop NX. Apparently the PO had the rear driverside window slashed open

Not counting stuff I broke and needed replacing anyway, the 2" BB that stayed on for just over a year. The entire POS kit including the shocks have been replaced.

Well I haven't spent any $ yet. But in a few weeks I will be putting on some new A/T tires, and if I have enough $, I also will order a new brief top, tube doors, 2" budget boost. These are my plans for this year.
