Your Take on Crown 7" Fender Flares

My right front Pass Bushwacher is broken and my right rear is cracked. But for less than thee price of the front Bushwackers I can replace them all for $164 if I buy the Crown set.

What do you think of the Crown's

I hate how much coverage there is with the 7" flares. I have the usuals, 33x12.50 Duratracs on Soft8's and I love the amount that they're sticking out of the stock flares.

I want in a Local Crown Automotive store we have here in MA, and they had 7" flares on the wall for I believe a JK model, if they are the same ones they sell for all Jeeps then the plastic on them was a hard flimsy plastic. Not the rubbery bendy type that's on the Bushwackers. I felt the flare and IMO, if you leaned up against it, it would break in seconds. Hope this helps.

So are mine and they suck. If you sneeze on them, they break. The local Jeep guy here will sell me the Rubicon models ones for $127 so I will do that until I can save for my Metal Cloak's. I was going to get a 6" version but his 4.5" Stock ones are so cheap, it would be silly not to get them. The closest 6" in price is $250.

I believe the new bushwacker pocket flares are the hard plastic that is terrible. The old bushwackers are a bendable plastic.

I've had mine on for 5 or so years, I've got 1 small crack by the body, but as many trees they have rubbed against I can't complain

Not sure if mine are the Rugged Ridge, or the Crown. They were already installed when I bought mine.

I haven't had any issue with them, but I don't like how far they stick out.

I have them on mine and they are specifically for full tread coverage... It's required in Oregon I haven't had any issues with them, other than the fit against the extension pieces. There is a slight gap that allows mud, snow and other debris to collect there. Not an issue unless you don't rinse the gunk out of there at times. It can start a rust pocket where you can't easily see it!
