Yukon 4.56 Gears...

Hey guys, i found a guy locally that is selling BRAND NEW set of YUKON brand Dana 30 Ring & Pinion Kit 4.56 Ratio with master overhaul kit and inner seals. for $350.

seeing as I just lifted my jeep 4" and got 33s on, im looking to go 4.56
my rear is a D35...will this kit still work for me?

is this a legit brand? cheap brand? what kinda questions should I ask before purchasing and is that a fair price? or should i haggle for $300?

thanks for the help in advanced!

Top of the line name brand, or so I've heard. I want to say the price is about right but I can't really tell you because I bought USA Standard gears. I /think/ the D35 will hold up to 33s but maybe someone else will chime in. Finally 4.56 ratio is perfect provided you have the 4.0L engine, and a manual trans. I have nearly the exact set up and love it.

Edit: also buy the r&p and install kit for both axles if you ever want to use 4wd without things going boom.

Youkon Make a great product, I have the same gears in mine for the last five years 4.6 stroker w/ 35" tires and no issues. recently did a new seal job. and opened the pumpkins and the gears look great no weird wear patterns.. They must be installed correctly tho. Its not just a job you can do by taking them out and throwing the new ones in. the lash, Etc must be set properly.

33's on a D35 is questionable at best. 33's on a D35 Locked is a disaster waiting to happen.
