X4 you can get at any local auto store or Walmart, no need for online.

I typically use the Mobil 1 synthetic grease (red)

You can save the time (waiting) and shipping cost by just going to Wally World. I use just plain old grease. The thing is every time I come back from wheelin' the TJ gets a bath, I rehook the sway bar, then feed all the zerts. I grew up on farms and little was spent on wore out bearings due to the fact that the grease was not spared. It's very cheap insurance.

Check any auto store. Use Mobil 1 grease with a flexible hose for easy access. Also, you might wanna get replacement zerk fittings as mine have rusted solid in about a year. I could not grease my johnny joints in my control arms until this was fixed.

I have a Lincoln cordless high pressure grease gun, getting to old to pump my own, and use a good quality grease often. Just make sure all the joints take it. I do mine every 3-6 k.

I used the mobile one synthetic this summer and it leaks from several nipples. Don't know if the summer heat caused it or not, but i don't like the red spots on my driveway. I think I will go back to the plain ol cheap grease.

If you don't have a compressor, that will eliminate a air powered gun. I recommend the
"pistol grip" style, as they leave you a free hand to hold the hose onto the zerk. Lever style requires two hands to operate.

I much prefer the older style pump guns to the pneumatic/electric ones. You get a much better feel for how much grease the fitting is taking, and what sort of resistance it's giving.

This is sage advice. I use marine grade grease whenever possible. I want something that can hold up to getting wet and not wash away. More importantly is how often you grease, which should always be more often than you think!

I honestly haven't greased any of the fittings on my jeep but I use a pump gun with mobil 1 grease on other equipment. I needed something to do tomorrow, thanks lol

All depends on how stock you are. Crawl around underneath and look for nipples... Guess that advice works for a few things... TRE's, control arms, steering components, etc.

Just bought this one today on sale !!! $14.99
Oreillys house brand with lifetime warranty Pistol Grip Grease Gun with 12" flex hose with coupler and 3000 psi working preassure... Cant wait to grease it up! I wasn't sure which grease to buy so since I don't think they have been greased in about 30-40k miles I just went ahead and bought the higher end grease, Mystik. Hopefully all the hype is true and it will lube and collect any crap in there so next time when I force more in it will push out the bad stuff.

I try to get a waterproof grease. makes it easier if you forget to re-grease often enough.

My recommendation is a hand operated grease gun with long hose (16") and grease grade per the Owner Manual (Multi-Purpose Lubricant NLGI Grade 2 EP, GC-LB). Be careful not to over grease and swell/bust your seals/boots.

Thanks to the previous owner, most of them are already busted. Another project for another day.
