Zipper on soft top for a TJ (2004) sport

The back window zipper is broken on the piece that covers the Jeep...not the zipper on the piece that you put in. Does anyone have a solution besides buying a brand new top for the Jeep. I just bought it.

do you have pics to better explain where it is broken? Is it broken on the soft top side of the zipper or the window side of the zipper?

I will get a picture thank you very much! It is the soft top side of the zipper. There is a little square female end that the window side zipper fits in that seems to have been ripped off.

did you just buy the jeep or did you just buy the top? if you just bought the top see of you can send it back under the warranty.

I had the same problem, though on a side window, and brought it into an alteration place that does zippers. Wasn't that expensive and it was a quick fix for them.
