ZJ springs?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on a coil spring question for me. I have an old set of ZJ coils. Now I know the rears dont fit the TJ but all the front coils are interchangable as far as I know. Im just curious if front ZJ coils would provide any kind of lift on the front of a TJ. Theya re from a ZJ with the 4.0 and my TJ has got the 4.0 as well. Thanks

Maybe 1" but the V8 springs are the more popular choice. The only problem with the V8 springs is that they are really stiff.

I dotn have any V8 springs any way. My aim is to get it at a good height to flex 31's out super well. Im buying the Rancho Rockcrawler lift but it doesnt come with coils (the way Im buying it). The ca's on the kit allow it to flex super well, and its made for up to 2.5" coils. I jsut thought I could save some coin by using the front ZJ springs if they would lift it up over stock height. I want it to ride smooth too. So Im probably not gonna get any V8 springs. I dont want to spend much on coils though.

Alright, thanks. Thats what I needed to know. Another question though, will XJ springs lift it at all? Any stock spring for that matter?

XJ coils, I think are slightly smaller than TJ springs. Just buy some 2" Rusty's coils.
