Zj springs up front....

Know this has been touched on before ... But. I was wondering if I put zj springs on my TJ what would be my estimated net lift between the 4.0 vs. theV8 springs?
I have an 06 SE with the 2.4L
And a 10,000 lb winch
Stock bumper
Ice been reading that the v8 springs will give 2 inches to a 4.0 So I think that would give me way more lift than I want... So by that logic. Would a spring from a 4.0 ZJ put me at the 2 or less inches I want to be with my 4 cyl.
And info on this subject would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

That's the problem. I really have no ability to do that.... I was hoping someone had an idea I was hoping to gather info before I put money into the springs

go to the junkyard and buy the springs. swap them in and see what you get. you should be able to get both sets of springs for under $50.

I remember reading a thread somewhere that said that the lift was better for a 2.5 and hardly noticeable on a 4.0. But, I don't have personal experience with this.

Yeah that's what I read on a few others that's why I was wondering about the 4.0 springs. ThEy might provide a bit less lift than the v8 ones. Ohh well I'll save up once I get a job and try it out in my free time

I'm also interested in those springs. I have a 2" lift (spacers and shocks) and I hate the raked look that my TJ currently has.
