So the motor mount and body lift combo was enough to eliminate drive line vibrations? or did you have to drop the t case?
do you have bump stop extensions?
Thanks for all the help I really appreciate it.
Mahalo 4bangersampler, yes - the MML should be sufficient enough to correct any vibrations. I doubt you'll actually get any vibes with the 2" lift.
I do have a dropped t-case but that is because it is a UCF tummy tuck and not the stock skid (I still net 0.5" of clearance over the stock skid
). You won't need to drop your t-case.
I do not have bumpstop extensions as when I installed the lift (over 4 years ago) I checked if I rubbed, and I didn't. So I didn't think I needed bumpstop extensions. However...my original thinking of bumpstops and their use to stop a tire from rubbing the fender or flares was incomplete. The bumpstops also extend the life of the shocks by not allowing them to over compress.
I've been keeping a close eye on my shocks and they appear to functioning fine (without the bumpstop extensions) after 4 years of intermittent off-roading and daily driving.
