1990 yj turn signals not working

I have tried everything and really need help. I have a 1990 yj no turn signals. When I press the brakes and brake lights come on I switch the turn signal and whatever side I go to turns that light off so that's how I signal manually flipping turn signal up and down. Checked all fuses, replaced relay, replaced switch inside column and also replaced housing to led flush lights and still the same problem. The lights do flash when hazards are turned on. Does anyone else have any ideas thanks

I had a similar problem and it was the key switch I could hardly believe it after all the things I tried

So when you say key switch do mean the actual key cylinder/tumbler? The one that's behind the turn switch inside the steering wheel column

Thanks I will try this next hopefully it works. But it makes sense because it had to be something before the fuse box because I don't get any clicking from the relay but I do get clicks from the hazard relay when hazards are on

Just a note

Also there are 2 flasher elements one for 4-ways and one for turn signals

Did raplace The light with LEDs if so you may not have big enough load to make the flasher to work

The same problem was happening with the original lights before led install. I do have power to the switch though

You are not getting power from the turn signal flasher to switch on the column and you replaced that and you are getting 12 volt on the pin D going to the switch

There is a override lever on the hazard switch that cuts the power off to the turn signal it must be broke

Correct if I push the brake the lights come on but when I signal with the pedal down that side goes off. I do have power to the switch pin. I can check the hazard lever

Check continuity from pin D to pins G & C for left or B & F for right . I think it's going to the hazard bypass that would all the thing you have
