4wd and oil leak?

Hello everyone. Im new to this site and a wrangler owner yet again. I am hoping someone could help me with these problems. I recently bough a 1989 wrangler and it has some issues i am not familiar with. I saw when i bought it that the 4wd light would come on and off intermitently. But i changed the brakes all around, changes the oil lubricated and tightened everything and it went off. Yeah i know. LOL Yesterday i was going down a hill and when i was downshifting it came on and the jeep kind of jerked and then it went off. I also can only go from 2high to 4high only the 4wd control will not move past the first 2 sets of gears make sense? Now the next thing is i have a slight oil leak where the drain plug is on the oil pan. It seams to drip a very small amount when not running, but when i got back from the ride stated above it was coming out pretty good. I did not get a chance to look at it very good but its definately coming from up further but dripping pretty good around the drain plug area. I dont know if these are stupid questions or not but any help would be appreciated. Thank you. One more thing is anyone going to the Jeff Daniels Jeep show in Harleysville Pa this weekend ??

To get it in two neutral and 4 low You have to have cluch pushed in. as far as oil leak goes did you check to see if drain plug is in tight, or possibly cross threaded , or may oil be running down back of the pan from the rear main. it will drip more as oil is warm and thinner
