83 top fit 87 wrangler?

It's a hard top. Will it fit on my wrangler? It's from an 83 cj.

It will fit, but be aware that the liftgate functions differently. The CJ liftgate closes after the tailgate, while the YJ is the opposite. This is no biggie if you don't have a spare on your tailgate. If you do, it still works, but you have to shut them almost simultaneously. Mine even more so because I have an oversized spare.
