90 yj hard top

There is a guy bout an hour away that is selling a 90 yj hardtop black for bout 300. I have a 94 yj and wanted to know if it will fit my yj. He is supposed to be sending me more pics. He says there is nothing wrong with. I just dont want to make the trip if i dont have to.

it will fit 87-95 all the same top. You may need hard doors or different soft upper halves to use it though...someone else can chime in to verify this

Well right now i am running with no doors. So that wont be an issue for right now.

yes the tops are the same but if you run with A soft top the windshield channel keeps the top from setting down all the way to seal tight. I run mine that way in the summer to switch between hard top or safari top.

You have to be careful buying soft uppers . Not all uppers fit the hardtop. I'm not taking about the factory style either . They're are 2 different style "rounded" uppers . You have to be specific when buying for a hardtop.
