91 yj back on the road

This is a ongoing restoration job

I got the old 91 running again, after losing the rear drive shaft while towing. This is the YJ that my son bought at a police auction. It had been sitting idle for 3 yrs. he gave it too me because it was just setting out in front of his house and the wife said get rid of it.

i wasent sure if the t-case was damaged or not after the drive shaft tore lose, but it dose. Had to replace the drive shaft, the rear housing on the T.case, the slip yoke and u-joints.

My next projects. Get the front wheel drive to engage.

a fuel gauge that says its full, but it's not. (2 gals), a damaged tail gate at the upper hinge. And a tear in the floor board under the pasenger seat. Get the heater working before winter.

When those are fixed I have to put in floor mats and get a new top. half doors with no fram work. Seat covers. Throw out the back seat.

Boy this is fun. my acking back

Glad you got it up and running again. Now you can address the other problems you have. Good to see you back on here again.
