92' YJ with 318 v8

Hello everyone. My name is Derik and I live in Hawaii. Ive come across a 92 YJ that has a engine conversion with a dodge charger 318. I'm no mechanic and ive heard that I should be careful since there's a lot that could have been done wrong doing the swap. My question to you all is, is it worth the risk and i should jump on it? He wants 2,500-3000 for it. Its got around 60k on the engine and about 170k on the vehicle itself. Thank you

Thanks, that seems to be what everyone is telling me. Also, it comes with a brand new soft top in the box, the stock tires and wheels along with another set of doors. The rear has been regeared as well. I'm taking a look at it tommorow.

if the rear has been regeared make sure the front matches. If it still has the stock rear it won't stand up to much abuse. Look it over really well. Make sure engine an trans mounts are safe an solid, there's no crazy angles in the drive shafts. If it runs smoothly an handles safe that's a good price in my book. I lived in Hawaii from 87 to 91, would have loved to have a jeep back then.
