Lightbulb 95' Rio Grande project (feedback please (: )

Okay. Sooooooooooooo, my 95' Rio Grande is sweet. But, I want to make it better!
--My sound system is good, and i am proficient at that.
--I have a little 4 cylinder, and i want to beef it up, not so much speed,
(would be nice though) but general power, fuel efficiency, and sound (:
--Lift kit is a must, could use a good suspension upgrade though.
--The hard top needs a coat of paint (spice color)
--Inside carpet replacement, roll bar zip on covers, air vents.

If you have any suggestions for any of these please let me know (:
---Also, if anyone knows how, how to get my sound bar light to come on when I open the doors, and suggestions on how to add more lighting to the cabin.
---- Any other suggestions, comments or advice is accepted

heres my 95 rio grande. i love it.power out of the 4 cyl.it is what it is.i put on a cold air intake that helped a little but regearing is the key if you are gonna go with taller tires.i just put a 4 inch rough country lift with 1 1/4 shackle lift.replaced stock body mounts with prothane 1 inch body lift witch helped cushin the body and helped absorb some road bumps.as far as the cabin light on the sound bar there should be a buttin switch on the door.my doesnt work either but i think a small led light mounted under the dash and wired to the light circuit is gonna be a cure for that.the cold air parts i got from adavnce auto parts.you can make it to fit like you want and save tons of money.i went to rough country for the lift.cheapest place i found at under 500 bucks.went to dicount tire direct and got four 33 12.5 goodyear duratracs on uniqe 15x8 wheels for 940 buck with all new lugs and center caps mounted.i am building on a budget and these are the best prices i could find for quality parts.good luck on your project.keep us posted.

Wow lots of ??.

For power if you go more than 31's look into a re-gear. Light on sound bar mine has a switch that has 3 positions, off-on-switched w/ doors being open. You should also have a n on the drivers side door mounted just to the left of the parking break that activates the light.

You need to be a little more specific with your ??

This is mine. Just got it a few weeks ago.

Just got new MT's, got RR XHD bumper to install. Waiting on 1" BL and 1" lift shackles. Also getting winch soon.

I agree with the regearing, as I will be going that route at some point. The 2.5 is what it is.

Ive got a 95 Rio Grande as well. I replaced the 2.5 with a 4.0 HO Stroker, with the stock 4.10 gears its got plenty of power on the low end as well. Dual electric fans, aluminum radiator, SOA with 33's. I recently bought a hard top and full steel doors and im working on rebuilding them. Building my own custom roof rack/ cage. i already built front and rear custom bumpers and rock sliders for it. Its also half painted and a work in progress, but i love it. Lots of posibilites.
