$98 front bumper

I finally got my bumper in from jeepoutpost.com for only $98 with free shipping, it's a pretty good deal. It is made for a TJ but states it also fits YJ's. it bolted right up to mine! Just thought I'd share it with my fellow jeepers on a budget.

Ya, I like it. It also came with a winch mounting plate.

Yes. It's kinda hard to see in the pic but right in front of where it bolts to the frame on each side there is a clevis to hook a chain up to.

I bought them from the hardware store for $12 each. There kinda hard to see in the pic because they are black. They are 3/4 by 3".

It's under the TJ bumpers but I'll find the link and post it up. At first glance, I thought it came with a winch mounting plate but I realized its like a skid plate the bolts under the bumper.

Do you have the skid on in the picture and what does it protect?

I don't have it on in the pic. I'll put it on tomorrow and get some pics. It's not a skid plate, I'm just saying its like a skid plate. It's just a piece of metal that kinda just covers the parts that are visible after removing the stock bumper.

If anyone is looking for these, grab them while you can. Trail Gear is no longer producing them, so the stock that is out there right now is the last of them. That's a stupid good price! Before anyone asks, no I don't sell them.

Here's a pic with different lights I put on it. I found them at Walmart for $20. The ones I had on it felt cheap and flimsy. These new ones are a lot nicer. I still haven't put that under plate on yet...

the bumper showed up yesterday and I got it mounted. had to enlarge the bottom bolt holes with a die grinder but it mounted pretty easy. only weighs 40lbs.
thanks for posting about this, it is a great deal for the price.

I got mine yesterday and i love it. I need to do a bit of modification on the skid plate and to the bottom bolt holes but i'm happy otherwise!

Lol absolutely not. It was that crappy teal color when I bought it. It's going to be all orange. Crush orange specifically. I'm doing the round headlight conversion that is why the grill isn't painted. Not a dolphin fan.

Its not $98 but for a set of 2 and free shipping, I don't think I'll pass it up when I have the extra $.

I had these exact same ones on my old Cherokee and couldn't complain about them.

Not for Jeeps anymore. Their focus is on the Toy and Sami crowd.
