Garyk I thought of that but it is possable someone took out his bulb! I would assume he would have a CEL if it has given him this much trouble but maybe not. Is your Check Engine Light on? Or do you see it when you turn the key on before starting?

unbolt the the exhaust pipe before the cat and disconnect it see if it runs better.... if so then the cat is plugged

The fact that you have no CEL further increases the odds that you have a clogged cat as that would not trigger a code. A faulty crank or map sensor would have a light with it. Try to unbolt the exhaust before the cat, as said before it will be loud but if it drives fine than your cat is the problem. From that point you can either drive to an exhaust shop like that or order an exhaust and tackle it yourself.

So find a place to unbolt it before so the exhaust escapes be the cat???

Yep basically. If you look at the exhaust diagram above, #5 is your cat. You can either unbolt it right before that, or at the spot where #4 is pointing. I would try at #4 first, but whichever is easier to come apart is fine.

When my Crank position sensor went bda mine would idle all day long with no trouble. When I tried to move under any load, it would not go hardly at all, and would spit and pop. $38.00 and it is fixed. Mine is a 2.5ltr, but the 6's have them too

The shaking may be from bad motor mounts

I highly recomend finding someone to download it because it will give you fault codes to help troubleshoot. Advance and autozone will download it for free if you can make it to one of the stores. If not, the OBD scanners are pretty common in a mechanics garage.....someone you know should have one
I think you are thinking OBDII which didn't come out until 96 I believe... This is a 95...

are you sure all the plug wires are on the right plugs??? I would double check the firing order for your engine and be sure your wired up right. It sure sounds like a couple might be reversed. Timing doesn't usually change itself on the fly...

oh, and yeah the computer hookup under the dash is for vehicles 96' and newer. Did it sit for awhile? I've also seen some water in the gas cause the same type of issue. And, I've also seen an air box packed full of leaves from mice cause a complete loss of power.

Believe it or not, some 95's have to be programmed, Early OBD2 with an OBD1 interface.
GM and Ford did it more then Chrysler, but they actually use an OBD2 interface.

Maybe the coil breaking down? I wouldn't think it was the timing at all. If it idles fine it's not the timing.

Not so. When I installed my dizzy I was out of time and it idled like a new one but fell on its face under load. I ignored timing for a long time because it idled so well. I believe the ECM was correcting as much as possible at idle but couldn't advance enough through the RPM range.
