adventures in Herculining

I just completed my first major mod of Herculining the tub to my 94 YJ and I'm really impressed with how it turned out and it was really fun!

you won't regret it. i did it about a year ago to my tj, and have never looked back. in the near future, i plan on getting another kit and doing it to my cj.

I really enjoyed doing it. Sure I missed a few spots and my texture is kinda shaky. I'm always a fan of a good weekend DIY project.

I love mine. I have 4 coats inside and went around the edges. It is easy to touch up also.

Looks great. I bought the kit the other day now I'm just waiting on spare time to do it. Did you use the kit, if so how much did you have left over and how many coats were you able to aply? I cant wait to get mine done!!!
Also Jgano, a buddy had his JK linexed and he said he noticed that it's a lot hotter in the cab, you find this to be true?

I used the U-Pol Raptor kit in mine and the first thing I noticed was that it was quieter inside.

I did notice a slight increase in heat. but my yj is black on black so sort of par for the course. I used the Herculiner kit and had half the gallon left over. I used 2 coats would have done more but my one complete is it's hard to tell where I was. It's not like paint where you can tell by the shine etc, to me it all looked the same.

I just finished Herculining my my yj and like it so far. It is warmer inside but seems to be worth it.
I found that Fleet Farm has had two sales on the kit this year and got the gallon kit for around $50, with in store and mail in rebates.
I also did my rockers too.
