Advice on YJ Touch Up Paint and Door Painting

Hello Fellow Jeepers!

I scored a pair of full sized doors for my YJ off craigslist yesterday for super cheap. They are in GREAT condition with the exception of the pull handle and window crank. (already ordered new ones off eBay tonight) The doors themselves are awesome. No dents, no rust.

Only thing that sucks is that they are Green and my Jeep is Black.
I'd like to paint them myself and do it as close to professional as possible. So I'm seeking advice on primer, paint, and clear coat brands and also how to go about doing this. Past do's and don't from others that have done it in the past.
*Note.. don't care to go the bed liner route.

I just bought this Jeep last month and the guy that owned it before me kept it in his garage all the time so the original factory paint is in really great shape.

Lastly, I'm also seeking out some feedback on touch up paint for scratches that people have had good luck with.

Any big name brand spray paint will do Krylon, Dupont etc.

Clear coat is also available in a can.

Surface prep is the key to success.

Be patient and prep.

Black doors black primer.

If you need some insight to paint prep check YouTube videos for some quick help.

Here is a site that you can get the exact paint shade to match your vehicle. Even if it is black you want to be careful because Jeep used 3 different shades of black on their vehicles. There is also a directions page on this site that will walk you through the process of painting, clear coating and rubbing out. Good luck!!!
