and the list goes on...

so i just went through my quadratec and a few websites making up a list of parts that i am going to install this summer...and the total came around 2275$$ the only question i have is the back spacing of rims. i have plans to order 33x12.50R15 Parnelli Jones dirt grips and was wonderin what back spacing i should look at so they wont rub(to bad a lil is tollerable) thanks alotfor the help, ill be sure to send pics once she is all done up(for this summer atleast)

you need a back spaced wheel of 3.75" with that, you will have no rubbing. That is course on a 10" wide rim.

Wish I had two thousand to play with. This winter I'm putting in a custom dash and hopefully finding a junk 4.0 to stroke. Have to start paying for college.

yeah my college makes us do Co-ops for engineering students and i am working at a nuculear power plant in NH makin 16$ an hour so saving some and spendin the rest into the jeep. ill worry about loans in a few more years haha

Ha HA! to much of my wifes anger I chose to ignore her demand for me 2 stop dumping money into my jeep and Im making the big crossover....V-8 chvy small block,w/ a CJ7 three speed transmission. take THAT ol'lady....but need help w/ finding a bellhousing to match up.(but i wont hyjack this thread so ill post my own...

I am running 35x12.50x15s on 10" steel rims with 3.75" offset.
They do not rub, but they stick WAY out.
Make sure you budget for extended flares, or tickets if you live in an area where the cops will pull you over for that.

how much of a lift do you have in it? i have a 1.25 shackle and want the 4 inch lift and wondering if i may be able to swing 35's

I have 4.5" RE springs and 1" body lift.
I did have to trim the flares slightly, but that is hardly noticable.

Im lost...srry guys whats back spacing? I got a 4" lift w/ 33's. whats back spacing do? and where does it go? I dont rub anywhere....although I havent taken it on any hardcore trails...yet. just simple two tracks and such..basic wheeling.

backspacing of your rims, like if you notice the same vehicle with differnt rims will have a wider stance, it is because of the difference of back spacing.
