another newb question

Undecided if I should do a shackle lift, trim the flares or just remove them. Getting some rubbing on the rear since putting 33's on. I know there are other options, (tj flares, etc.)just wanting input from the more experienced jeep owners. Thanks!

Trimming the flares is free! Shackles are good as long as you understand it does more than just lift it like change the pinion angles/castor/and applies more pressure on the shackle mounts. A 1" body lift is a good way to get a little more clearance all the way around for about the same as a shackle lift also. Btw my jeep has 1 1/2" lift shackles, tj flares and a 1" body lift.

Thanks, did you have to trim any metal adding the tj flares? What if anything, will I also have to do by adding the body lift? Honestly, I know it's free but not to excited about cutting decent flares.

Yes you do cut some metal thats how you know you are opening up the fender. There are a few post and a write up on the here I'm sure that will show you the details of tj flares on a yj. For the body lift just 1" and you don't have do do anything else but sometimes you have to fight a rusted up body mount bolt so it can be a pain on some jeeps.
