another thermostat question

Hi everyone,
My jeep does not have a thermostat in it right now, I will be putting in an electric fan this weekend. The fan comes with a thermostat setting of 180 on, and 170 off. Will that work OK if I put a 195 thermostat in my 4.2 I6? or should I cough up 50 more $ and get an adjustable fan thermostat?

4.2L's should run between 195* & 210*
180* is too cold to keep the fuel/air mixed properly.

It would work just right. Although I will highly recomend the adjustable one its what I use. The fan may kick in befor the thermostat but untaill the thermostat opens up it will not accually cool till the thermostat opens up to let it flow. I also recomend a high performanvce chevy small block thermostat. They flow at a higher rate and last longer.
