Any risk in hosing down the dash in my '95?

I need to power wash the interior of my '95 Wrangler to get all of the crud out before I put my top on for the winter. I was planning on taking my stereo out, do I run any other water/electrical risks by hosing down the dashboard?

umm ya, its not designed to be hosed down. the interior is cool, power wash it, and the water that inadvertently hits the dash is cool, but on the dash you're better with a damp soapy rag, and rinse with clean damp rag. it is a pain.

Well you could design and build a waterproof dash that's easier to clean, then share your design with the rest of us on the forum.
