If anyone has 30x9.5s on a YJ can you share some pictures?? Preferably with NO lift just stock suspension please. Looking to buy that size to upgrade my tires
I have 30x9.5x15s on stock jeep. They are a great fit. I do rub at full lock in one direction.
These are the only pics with tires I have. Let me know if you want more. Bottom pic is them next to the LT275/70R18 that are on my truck about 32.5-33".
Those look good. Thinaks I will be dong the same. I heard some info from a mechanic whop had the same problem. He said that sometimes the larger tires can rub up against the resevoirs that hangf into the wheel wells.
I currently have 235/75r15 as well and they are actually more similar to 28 inch tires. The 265/70 r15 is closer to the 30 inch wheel. When properly inflated the 26 listed above sits at 29.6 inchs and the 235 sits at 28.8 inches. About a one inch difference.
Well this is a really old thread, but I'll post up re 235s. 235/75/15 are usually 29" tires and from my research are the largest tires that will fit with no rubbing with the stock suspension. I think the renegades came stock with this tire size. 225/75/15s are usually 28" and 30/9.5/15s are usually 30" tires. I went from 225 to 235 and it filled up the wheel wells a little bit more, but the look is very similar. This is with the stock 225s:
The thread you're responding to is from 2014. It's unlikely any of the posters above you will respond.
If I were you, I'd talk to the sales person at your tire store.
I'm running 31 X 10.5 X15s on 4" backspacing steel wheels and no lift. The drivers side tire rubs the spring at full turn on left turns.
Good Luck, L.M.
