Axle swap question

I have and 85 Cherokee with Dana 30 in front and Dana 35 in the rear. I also have a 87 Wrangler with the same axles. I am going to part out my cherokee and am wondering if the axle are the same length. I think that the spring perches should be the same width in the rear and the fronts will need perches welded on. This will also complete the rear part of the spring over axle conversion. My wrangler currently has 3:07 rears gears and my XJ has 4:10's so if it fits it will be worth it to me with an added locker.
Can any one verify?

You will need some axle shims in the rear to get your pinion angle correct. Someone else may know if this is a good idea or if you should cut off and reposition the perches.

get out your tape measure and figure out your leaf mounts. They are not the same. IIRC, the YJ mounts are closer to the diff.
