bad luck

Has anyone heard of or had a jeep that drives fine for an hour and then starts back firing and looses power then I shut it down till all gauges go to 0 then fire it back up and its fine? I ready replaced the plugs, wires, cap, rotor, muffler, air cleaner, oil and filter, and the gas filter now I'm told it needs a distributor does this sound right I need to get this fixed as its my daily driver oh by the way it only seems to happen when its hot.....

lots of people have that same problem.....chances are it's either the Throttle Position Sensor for the Crank Position Sensor...what year is your YJ and what engine do you have?
