Best and easiest way to get more power

Hey guys, I have a 91 jeep wrangler, just curious to what your opinions are on more power. I already have a throttle body spacer and a performance module installed. Neither of them really showed me much of an increase. I am debating about buying a cold air intake from K&n or something. let me know how you feel

If your looking for HP at high RPM then a K&N type Cold Air Intake would help. But if you are looking for power at low RPM for trail riding or crawling, then it will not show much at all. In my own opinion.

Don't pay so much for K&N cold air. Rugged Ridge make a cold air for 100 less and just as good or the AEM. But for wheeling won't see much gain.

which engine do ya have? gears are by far the best upgrade. However also cost a lot and you should think about swapping in a new rear axle such a ford 8.8 if you have the stock dana 35 vs spending money on the dana 35.

Get the head shaved, Higher compression combined with higher octane fuel does wonders. These engines are really simple and you can find a reputable machine shop to do the mill work for around 250-300. And you get to do the work yourself.

Has anyone heard of taking a 1999 TJ intake manifold and bolting it onto the YJ engine? A guy at my local after market parts store told me he did it on his 4.0 and it gave him a noticeable power increase. He said it was a direct bolt in too. But I've never done it myself so I can't justify that answer. Just a thought perhaps.
