Best Axles to swap

I am looking at swaping out my rear end, out of my 88 wrangler. She will be a daily driver and a weekend wheeler, nothing to crazzzzzy.

What would be the best and simpelist axle to swap in? I am not looking at braking the bank if you know what I mean.

Ford 8.8 is going to be the best and cheapest way for you to get this done. There is tons of information on the web about this swap. I would say it's the most popular rear axle swap for any jeep.

It would seem to be all the beef you will need.

Exactly...I would look for a late 90's model to get the disk brakes. The only drawback with this suggestion is that you will have to make some changes to the brake system to accomidate the disk brakes. as 1BLKJP mentioned, there is tons of information out there that will walk you through this swap.
