Aggressive mud tire and everyday street tire do not go hand in hand.
That mud needs large lugs and voids to let the wheel spin clear em.
The street needs small lugs and small voids.
You either have to shoot for the middle and not be great in either situation or go to either extreme.
What are your thoughts on this? An aggressive mud tire on the road isn't going to wear well and your MPG will go down. You will be purchasing new tires sooner than later.

thats good information, i'm new to jeeps-mud/off roading. whats a good in-between? the mickey tompsons are holding up well on the road but the info i got on them says they are rock tires. they got me out of a hole once but took a lot of effort. going up a hill like a levee with wet grass they tend to spin a lot
I think the Boggers are the best for our Mud, but there not Great on the Road, no good Mud Grip is, For Both I would get the Super Swamper TSL Radial, or the Super Swamper SSR Radial. The TSL/SX is also a good tire and may be the Best for a Jeep because it is Load Range B, which means it Will Ride better and handle better on the road than the others and still pull great, But Do No Get A Bias Ply Tire what ever you get.
I have mud grapplers and I've been impressed how they handle in the mud, yet again they're called "mud grapplers" and they don't do too bad on the street
Cooper stt are a very good tire in mud and highway.they wear very good on high friend has them on his chevy has about 45,000 miles on them and still has some tread on them.offroad mag tested them and said they are one of the top mud tire and not a great rock tire.but has good highway wear.
Interco Tire company got its reputation for Making Mud tires They are also Based out of Louisiana . So I am sure they know what would be your best bet.
Ive run TSL radials before they were great offroad in the slop and rocks
