Bilstein 5100 help!!

Yesterday I picked up my 2.5" Rubicon lift and some bilstein 5100 shocks. I was working on installing the rear and I noticed the factory bolt the hold the shock didn't fit the the new 5100. Is this normal or did they give me the wrong shock? The box for the 5100 shows 0-2" zj lift I don't know if that is correct for a 2.5" lift?

Thanks

My 5100's fit fine on my "92" YJ. Which bolt, the frame or the axle?

Thanks for trying to help reno. I couldn't get the axle bolt to fit with the sleeve they provided me with. It ended up shaving the inside of the sleeve a bit and everything was good!! Now the front shocks they gave me are the wrong ones and u have to wait till Monday to get that fixed.

Did your rear shocks have to mount with the boot facing down? Mines would fit any other way. If it left the boot side up the cylinder if the shock will rub on the axle.

My rear barely rubbed the axle right at the track bar bracket. I was able to grind down the weld on the track bar bracket (i don't use the track bar) without going into the axle housing and had no rub after that. I know some have had to run theirs with the boot down, all jeeps are different.

So bilstein 5100 2" shocks are the correct ones for my 2.5" Rubicon lift?
