Black Bear Road

I'm headed to Teluride, Colorado this summer to do some playing in the Jeep. Has anyone had some experiences or some good stories of this area? and any tips before head out?

I have been part of the way along Black Bear Pass & it is very scary, I have no intention of going on that trail again

Headed up to Colorado this summer myself. Hope to spend a week wheelin around Uray, Teluride, Ridgeway..... I,ve been on a couple trails along 550 in a stock 3/4ton chevy 4x4 and loved it. Was not willing to get to wild in my wifes new $30k pu. Wont have that problem in MY YJ

Thanks gentry15. Its a work in progress.
I think Ill save Black Bear for last. Need to get some trail experiance and confidance in the JEEP and my abilities as a driver before I risk a trail where a mistake could be your last.
