I recently began hearing a nasty squeak whenever I go over bumps and cracks in the road. It sounded like it was coming from behind the glovebox or under somewhere near the passenger side wheel. After inspecting the situation I noticed that the bolt that keeps the brake like in place isn't tightened down snug. I can't move the brake line up and down by hand and hear a similar pitch squeak. I recently had a 4 in. RC lift installed, and I wonder if they forgot to snug that bolt down.. That being said, I cannot get to this bolt for the life of me with any of my tools. Are there any tricks to this? Does this sound like a common issue, anyone else encounter this before? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
Bleck. Yours looks a lot dirtier than mine and I only had one hose, not two. But anyway I was able to get to the front brake line mounting bolts from inside the engine bay, and I used a pry bar to hold the fender out of the way. However, mine were torx and I ended up buying a torx screwdriver because the replacement brackets didn't have enough room for my socket-torx things. I didn't permanently bend the fenders, just held them out of the way.
