My jeep is a '93 wrangler
I have a shackle lift is all.
31 in. tires
shocks are stock, no picks, I think that they are more old than anything. There was a bunch of washboards where I was hunting and all of the sudden the rear end of my jeep just started riding hard, and when you look at it from the rear the drivers side seems to sag a little.
shocks are easy and you can use stock replacements on your jeep shackle lift not enuf to influence shocks just unbolt the old ones and bolt in the new ones
Shocks will not cause the rear end to sag on one side, they simply control the movements of the spring. I would take a good look at the leaf springs too. One of them may be cracked. Maybe you should just go for a lift kit.
You are supposed to put a wrench on the very top of the shaft above the threaded portion to keep it from doing that. Mine had quite a bit of rust and I was still able to hold it.
