Alrighty, so I saw an ad on Craigslist today for a 94 yj. Is comes with: hard top, full doors, soft top, half doors, bikini top, tuffy glovebox, tuffy console, sound bar, lift kit, and large tires. Asking $6500. Drove it, all seems well, how much would the above accessories cost?

A link to the ad first off, which accessories are you talking about? To buy a hard top and doors up to a grand, soft top and doors over a grand, large tires depending on brand over a thousand, bikini top thirty bux, tuffy box around a hundred, depending on where you live and condition of accessories. That's not what you need to concern yourself with. You need to be checking age, motor, rust on body/frame. Transmission, suspension, axles. Basically you need to post a lot more information

I'd never spend more than $3-$4K on a yj personally. The problem is no YJ owner wants to admit their rig isn't worth nearly what they've put into it. $6500 is a lot. Even with 2 tops and some accessories. Again ... Just my 2 cents.

If it's regeared, has full case lockers. Like arb, Detroit , ox, yukon zip or grizzley with a sye and upgraded steering and a D44 or 8.8 in the rear it would sell for 6500 in my market however I also live in Utah so Jeeps hold value well here.

Me personally I perfer to buy a stock vehicle and do the work myself so I know that it's been done right and 95% of the time a stock rig has never been off pavement. I was the first person to put scratches on my belly pan and gas tank skid on my YJ

I'm in New Mexico, so not much going on here for Jeeps. There are several cjs on craigslist that are going for $8000 plus. the last owners have beat the hell out of 'em also. I was just wondering how much he had invested in the Jeep.

I paid $4500 for this 94! 4.0, auto, has hard top and doors, soft top, cargo top, 171,000 with fresh tranny! New seats, no rust, swing away rear bumper, and knowing what I put into my XJ in lift, tires, winch it's worth it! This thing is a monster and I would jump in and drive it to New Mexico from Missouri today!

With new tires including the spare, I thought it was worth it since they run over $200 a piece!

Too many variables to tell without seeing it. Done right and in great condition it may be worth 10 grand. Done poorly and in ok condition it may only be worth 3. No matter what there will always be someone on here that got a deal on their jeep and therefore can't imagine paying that much for a different one. Fact remains though that cj/YJ/tj's hold there value and you probably have to pay more than you probably should. Sometimes twice what you'd have to pay for a comparable Cherokee in these parts.

Thanks for the advice everybody! I looked on KBB last night, and with the options on the website figured it was worth $5200 plus the two other tops and doors, I think this is the one!
