Can someone please tell me how to identify which trim my Jeep is?!

So I have been doing a ton of research and just can't seem to figure out which trim it is. I just bought a Jeep at the auction, and they didn't know what trim it is. Here is what I know:

1995
4.0 Liter
Manual
NO A/C
4WD

I have been trying to figure out if this is a SPORT, SAHARA, SE, or if it has the Rio Grande trim, or what??? Any help would be awesome, I will try and post pictures to help with identifying it.

This is a stripe

The seats and interior

The actual Jeep

It has a OEM leather steering wheel, which is an upgrade over what came in the base. I was looking for a grey one in decent shape for quite a while and finally just wrapped my 'base' wheel. The base wheel is some kind of plastic (that is harder then your teeth).

You probably already know those aren't factory seats. No way they are twenty years old, unless the previous owner was Tinkerbell.

The seats are aftermarket. So from the stripe on the fender (if it's stock) and the base like style, I would give it the sport model.

Okay so I'm just so confused. I bought this because it wasn't running. Fixed it up and everything all for under $2500 (purchase price and repairs). Now I'm deciding if I want to drop $650 to have a guy at maaco paint it (I know people and get good deals). The jeep runs great, however, it has a salvage title from the fender, leafspring, and shocks damage. I'm curious to know of it's worth putting another $650 I to this? Nada says it's worth either $4875 or $5,500 depending on if it's the S or the SE version. KBB has it at $5000. So am just trying to figure out what you think it would be worth? No frame damage, the jeep runs great, engine sounds great, shifts great. No leaks. Clean interior. What do you guys think? Should I paint it or just leave it like that? This is just a starter jeep and next year I am going to sell it and get another probably.

Its definitely not going to worth book value with a salvage title, maybe $1000 less, but it really depends on your region.

if you plan on selling, don't waste money on paint
the salvage title is going to hurt resale more than faded paint

I agree that the salvage title will hurt you the most. Also I would rather buy a Jeep with faded original paint than one with a recent cheap paint job.

Thanks for the input guys. I am Jeep country over here in Utah so I know prices are a lot higher than some of the other areas. The paint job will be top notch, it is someone I know that works at MAACO and does it on the side for some people he knows. I will probably end up doing it since I may end up keeping this for a year. Thanks though!

Just my .02: If I worried about resale value on my YJ I wouldn't have done half the things I have.

In some States you can get it inspected and have the salvage removed.
