Question Canadian Jeep?

I noticed that my VIN started with a 2. I know that usually means the vehicle was made in Canada. Is this possible? Did they make wranglers in Canada? I live close enough to the Jeep plant in Toledo to know a lot about the history but never thought they were made in Canada.

My 92 YJ was made in Ontario. I think most of them, at least in that year, were as well.

I believe that D/C only recently acquired the rights to the name Wrangler in Canada. If it actually says Wrangler on it and it was originally sold there, then the Wrangler was added on later.
